Sam Houston State University - Online College of Criminal Justice

Sam Houston State University (SHSU), founded in 1879, is the third-oldest public institution of higher learning in Texas. SHSU, a member of the Texas State University System, has a total enrollment of over 20,000 students. In addition to traditional degree programs, SHSU offers more than 20 online bachelor and graduate degrees.

SHSU's College of Criminal Justice is one of the nation's largest and oldest criminal justice programs. The College contains the headquarters of the Texas Forensic Science Commission. The college has one of the most productive research faculties in the country
